A Weblog With Comments

About

This is an example weblog template for CityDesk that demonstrates the use of a php-based comments system. Although I wouldn't pay too much attention to the content (if you know what I mean).

It's quite involved so pay attention to what it's doing! Note that you won't be able to use the comments with the Preview option of CityDesk. PHP files require that they are run on a web server that supports .php files. For more information check out the backend section my site www.johnsadventures.com/backend.

All you need to do is create a new article for every day you want to post and each month add a new archive article, copying all the relevant fields from the previous month's (and change the time span to be included). The comments should just work as-is. Each article is identified by the day it was posted on.

If you're stuck then visit John's Adventures and ask me for more help!
